Four ways to take the whole deck

The deck holds sixty for a seated lunch and twenty-two tables for a normal service. Four formats, all of them cooked by Yannis and poured by Marina, all of them by enquiry only.

The Long Sunday Lunch — €145pp

The full deck, up to sixty guests, a set seven-course menu served family-style from 13:00 until the light goes. Wine pairing by Marina included. Sundays only, by arrangement.

Wedding rehearsal dinners

Half the deck or all of it, a shorter five-course card, and a timing that gets everyone to bed before the wedding day. We have done rather a lot of these.

Boat-and-deck day — €280pp

A morning out on Captain Vasilis’ caique, back to Houlakia by noon, then lunch on the deck cooked from what you helped land. Four guests minimum, weather permitting.

Anniversary deck

A single table at the western rail at sunset. The deck stays open after dinner service closes, so the last hour is yours. Two guests.

How an enquiry works

Tell us the date and the number

Send both in the enquiry form with anything else that matters — allergies, a wine you want on the table, a speech that needs a pause in service.

We answer with a card

Within two days you get a proposed menu, a wine list for the table, a timing sheet and a total. Nothing is confirmed until you say so.

Deposit and weather

A 30% deposit holds the date. Weather cancellations are refunded in full — the deck is open to the sea and we would rather move you than serve you in the meltemi.
